Berlin Entrepreneurship Network of Universities and Enterprises

BENHU is supposed to solve challenges of Berlin - a smart, sustainable, and growing city - by using Entrepreneurship Education for leveraging the entrepreneurial potential of students. For this, the network pursues three project objectives.

Improving Entrepreneurship Education

Create solutions for the improvement of entrepreneurship education together with start-ups, corporates, project partners, educators, and students.

Connecting Education and Incubation

Connect entrepreneurship education and startup incubation to help both sides to support entrepreneurial people and develop business ideas.

Building an International Network

Initiate an international network of entrepreneurship educators and incubators to support international startup teams.

BENHU Initative

In 2015 BENHU started as a joint initiative of the Berlin School of Economics and Law Berlin (BSEL) and Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin. Therefore, technical innovations and innovations from the area of business model development and strategy (Corporate Entrepreneurship) are in focus.
Organized by the Berlin chamber of commerce, Berlin’s economy finances projects in vocational and academic education and knowledge transfer as well as for the integration of refugees into the training and labour market. During the first funding period, BENHU was chosen out of different submitted project ideas as one the funded educational project.
